Outline

This course has been developed for anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing. The purpose of the course is to encourage staff to cope with a range of life events. The course explores techniques, stressors and how to support individuals when they are difficult periods of time including low mood, life changes and personal changes

Description

  • To identify what stress is and how this can impact us
  • To examine stress reactions and what triggers affect us
  • To review options available when seeking to reduce stress and how to look after oneself emotionally and physically
  • Practise methods of relaxation
  • To investigate how to keep well and support on-going good emotional and physical health
