The oral health team, part of the 0-19 Integrated Public Health Service is offering to deliver sessions in primary schools for years 3 and 4.
The central cluster of primary schools will have priority, due to those schools having higher levels of oral health decay and children above a healthy weight (based on the Central Primary Schools Cluster Health Profile March 2016).
During the lesson, we will cover, types of teeth and their functions, tooth decay, gum disease, toothbrushing, and foods and drinks which are safe for teeth.
We can also arrange a further visit to discuss the Tasty Tuck Award.
